After a thrifty day at the Queen Victoria Market, I can’t help but grab a coffee for the road!
Situated down one of the bustling indoor lanes at the Vic Market, Market Lane Coffee sits tastefully, waiting for your order.
It’s almost impossible to walk past this little gem and not be sucked in by the smell of fresh roasted beans, the simple menu and the intriguing ‘pour over’ coffee counter.
With a large range of beans sourced from around the world, these guys sure are serious about coffee, (well we are in Melbourne after all!) And don’t be put off by the small crowds of caffeine addicts, huddled waiting for their coffees, because the baristas are fast and efficient and the coffee is perfect every time! You won’t be waiting long and you won’t be disappointed!
Aesthetically, Market Lane Coffee ticks all the boxes for me. The clean white tiles, warm lighting and cleverly branded paper cups give the whole place a strong identity, positioned amongst all the other quaint, traditional kiosks.
To date, I’ve only been to Market Lane Coffee at the Vic Market but with another 3 locations across Melbourne, you’re sure of a decent coffee whichever market you frequent. The staff are friendly and knowledgable and I will be sure to visit one of the other sites to stock up on beans before leaving Melbourne!
